Thyroid is a butterfly shaped gland at the base of neck. Diseases involving this gland include:

• Thyroid nodules – which are lumps in the thyroid gland.
• Hypothyroidism - A condition in which the thyroid gland produce lesser thyroid hormone than normal.
• Hyperthyroidismv - A condition in which the thyroid gland produce excessive thyroid hormone than normal.
• Goiter – A condition of abnormal enlargement of thyroid gland.
• Thyroiditis – Inflammation of thyroid gland.
• Thyroid cancer – Cancer of thyroid gland.

Thyroid disorders can be treated and cured completely within 2 months.
